By downloading, installing, or using the Telos application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Telos Systems Inc., a Delaware C Corporation (“Telos,” “we,” “us,” “our”).
Telos is available exclusively to students at supported universities. To create an account, you must possess a valid university email address from a supported institution (currently MIT and Harvard) and use the App for personal, non-commercial, academic productivity purposes.
University email verification serves as the access gate to the Service. We reserve the right to verify your eligibility at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We recommend that you do not jailbreak your device, as doing so may compromise security features and may cause the App to malfunction.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to: copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; distribute, sublicense, lease, or lend the App to any third party; or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

The App, including all content, features, trademarks, trade names, logos, and design elements, is owned by Telos Systems Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. “Telos,” “Foresight,” “Flow Blocks,” “Telic Timer,” “Deep Work Mode,” “Molecules,” “Moments,” “Atoms,” “Particles,” and “Open Timetables” are trademarks or service marks of Telos Systems Inc. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described therein.
The App integrates with third-party services, each governed by their own terms:

Firebase / Google Analytics — Terms of Service
Apple — EventKit (calendars), Family Controls (App Shielding), Push Notification Service, and App Store payment processing.
We are not responsible for third-party service availability, accuracy, or practices.
Telos may offer premium features through subscription plans. All payments are processed through Apple’s App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple’s terms and your App Store account settings. For refund requests, please contact Apple directly through the App Store.
You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting legal@telosguide.com. Upon account deletion, all associated user data will be deleted within 90 days. This does not affect any anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose as a personal academic productivity tool. You agree not to:
— Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
— Create accounts with fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized university email addresses.
— Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials to any other person.
— Impersonate others or misrepresent your university affiliation.
— Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, or to any part of the App, its servers, or systems.
— Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
— Interfere with or disrupt the App’s infrastructure or other users’ experience.
— Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or interact with the App.
— Circumvent any access restrictions, security measures, or rate limits.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.
We strive to keep the App available and functional at all times, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may release updates to the App from time to time. The App is currently available on iOS, and system requirements may change. We recommend keeping the App updated for the best experience. Certain features may require the latest version of the App. We may cease supporting older versions of the App or iOS at our discretion.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TELOS SYSTEMS INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF ACADEMIC PROGRESS, OR MISSED DEADLINES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Telos Systems Inc., its officers, directors, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination: your license to use the App ends immediately; you must cease using the App and delete it from your device if requested; and provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, this clause does not affect your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection law, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable subscription terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Telos Systems Inc. regarding the App.
